What's this all about?

This blog will document my journey to bettering myself body and soul...but mostly just my body. I'm doing this to be healthier, to be happier. I want to be able to see something cute in the store and not have to worry if it will be big enough. I want to not be self-conscious of my body all the time, and be afraid that people are starring at my fat instead of me. I don't want to condemn myself to the long list of diseases that come with being obese. And I want to be able to keep up with my students at school and my daughter at home. A thinner Kayleen will be a better Kayleen, and that's who I plan to be. I know its going to be hard, and I'm going to struggle just like every other time, but this time, I'm going to succeed. The only thing I ask of you is to encourage me...ask me how I'm doing...make me accountable. It's what I need, and it's what I want.

As I am 5'5, I should weigh anywhere between 114-144 pounds. Therefore, my ultimate goal is to weigh around 140 pounds. My starting weight? 195.
